Wisely Travelling by Carlo Arcucci

If you’re standing in Tasso square you’re definitely in the heart of my own town where all the actions are.
The square, named in the honor of a Sorrentine poet called Torquato Tasso,is not a very old square….in fact was built approx. in the mid-ninettnth century altering profoundly the original lay-out of that area.
Imagining that while you’re standing in the middle of the square under-knee there was a deep crevasse into the tufa Sorrento plain.
In the middle of Tasso square you could admire the statue of our patron Saint, called St.Antonino which is celebrated with a great local fest on the 14th February, same day of St.Valentine.
